Unfortunately, we have to join the chorus of audio software developers advising users against upgrading your MacOS to Sonoma 14.4.

A few users have reported various problems with Kilohearts plugins in the latest MacOS update and we are in the process of working out what is causing them and finding a solution.

no it crashed some way into the process. Also weirdly - they ran a screen capture program to let me see what they were doing - and it worked perfectly whilst the screen cap software was running, turn off the screen cap. s/w and it crashes again....

@clevername27 hr1 files don't need to be used. Lots of us stopped using them years ago

@CyberGen Thanks, it worked. It's as if the wavetable conversion were capturing a longer SampleEnd than the real one and "recording" an empty space. Seems like a bug.

its sets the pre-load amount so for disk streaming it accounts(partly) for the speed of your disk.

I still don't know why but I was having one hell of a time trying to set up my certificates and getting it notarized, terminal kept failing me (not acknowledging my ID's specifically). In the end these two videos and their extended links did the trick for me:
