@Christoph-Hart I found that of scriptnode less aggressive. in fact the attack and release do not have the same value. actually it sounds the same with similar settings

@DanH Thanks. Yes I wanted a very simple install so I wrote some custom code to look for a file called Samples.hr1 in the Application Data folder. If it finds it, it does the automated install, loads the first preset so you don’t need a reboot.

Imagine, there is a parameterId of the LFO processorId named 'NumSteps' for this purpouse. I have somehow missed it all this time... πŸ˜„

Anyway, it is very useful and very easy to use....

    Cheers!

@tompower Hey man. So in this case should I download Xcode 12, get the Rez file, and finally download xcode 10?

@vewilya One for background one for the value, this is from one of my projects, you can just use the second rectangle if you don't need the background colouring.

Nope, but HISE is open source so someone could write a converter. Have you tried contacting the dev about the issue?

@Christoph-Hart Looks clean and nice, I like everything except the knob going down when manipulated.

Other than playing each key I can't think of a way to verify that it's loaded correctly from with the plugin. There are some functions to check if keys have samples mapped but I don't think that would help.

You might be able to do it by building a standalone build in xcode with debugging symbols enabled and that might show in the output as each sample is loaded...

@hisefilo I just hit the same problem and thought I put this here in case someone else stumbles over this little snag. The moment you start messing with look and feel of buttons this will mess up your midi sources floating tile! See here: https://forum.hise.audio/topic/3228/look-and-feel-toggle-buttons-and-the-midi-sources-panel?_=1617100831484

@Natan said in Parallel Compression / Scriptnode, Anyone Done One?:

Not sure how to achieve This, Need to Get some rest and Continue Tommorow πŸ‘‹

Auto makeup gain is a calculation based on Threshold and Ratio (sometimes attack and release are added to the equations).
Figure out what your nominal input is and plot a graph depicting gain reduction. That will tell you exactly what your makeup gain seeds to be for a particular circuit.

@Natan said in Parallel Compression / Scriptnode, Anyone Done One?:

it was close But not so musically

This is the difficult part to achieve. Without some standard of nominal input level, your calculation may end up adding large amounts of makeup gain before any gain reduction kicks in.
For instance, a low input level would force your to turn down your threshold to start achieving gain reduction, but a lower threshold also increases gain. And a high input level may start adding large amounts of gain reduction with barely any makeup gain based on your formula.

    @d-healey
Ok managed to get CC1 learned in the interface by making a knob that points to the macro and then midi learning that to CC1. so yeah seems like thats where it works for sure.
But still would be awesome to have that working... straight in the macros. wonder whats up with it....
