Here is a demonstration of how to make a knob in blender , the basic procedure , showing that its quite simple.
Not a tutorial that you could follow as such but might raise some questions that I would be happy to answer.

I was so happy with the Ensemble FX I made for a string synth that I decided to make a plugin out of it. Super simple - IN/OUT and Amount.
Here is the first iteration , the middle meter will not have a VU , that is just a placeholder. I am working on something that will represent the amount of Ensemble fx applied for the center screen.

Having said that I am now going to work on the texturing.
I will probably try to learn Substance Painter for this one as its painstaking to texture something like this in blender.

@11235813 Hi mate , if you are referring to the Amp sim UI/graphic then that was work for another developer.
@ElectroBlue We got Auv3 to "work" except for the UI , the UI would show but did not fit the AUv3 window properly and resizing did not work.
Finally got this finished , think I got a grasp on Substance Painter now.
This could be turned into a UI if anyone is interested.
