@ulrik @d-healey Major lesson learnt! I had been doing some tests with building a swift app on my iPhone and somehow it was still doing it with HISE! So always double-check if you have any outputs activated
in Xcode>Window > Devices and Simulators.

Although now I did find a major bug on an instrument we are building, so I will do a separate post on that.

@Natanr The user directory is rarely used. By default, Mac uses the system directory.
DAWs don't necessarily scan the user directory, but again the system directory is used by default anyway, so why bother using the user's one...
Why there are two directories? I don't know...

Honestly, this is the worst GUI i ever saw :O

Just tested in Ableton Live (9.1.6) and it works fine. This was using both AU & VST....

At @ulrik might be on to something with the "sync settings in Logic" idea so I'll have a look around in Logic X to see if I can find anything.
