@Christoph-Hart Yes, GDExtension is the framework for creating the dynamic libs, but I have no formal training in C++, so I have no idea how involved it is to write an API.
Something else I'd suggest is disabling IPP by default on all operating systems. Those who want it can enable it but it will make it easier for beginners who are always finding it a stumbling block.
@BWSounds I think I had originally set the Global Script Path in the HISE settings the same as the script path of the project, which resulted in some major bugginess.
Go to the export menu and select Export as Instrument. I'm assuming you've already compiled HISE from source before and therefore have everything setup to export.
