@Natan I'm using last develop version. A snippet won't help much because it's not a script-related function, but here is the option you have to enable before compiling HISE :
ReadOnlyPresets.jpg.

Once done, just save your factory presets within HISE and they will be automatically set as 'Read-Only' when you compile your plugin.

Nope. But it's an Ubuntu derivative so it will be essentially the same as Linux Mint which I'm familiar with, and Debian which is my main OS.

For anyone coming from Windows who doesn't mind some proprietary bits I'd recommend Linux Mint with Cinnamon desktop environtment.

@markmrak - yes something like that - you need to disable the guard app, Christoph posted something here a long time back explaining how he recommends people do it - but a Google search will turn up the process I'm pretty sure.
