yeah thats what i wanted to do - but clearly you cant - it just saves me more FX componentry in the send fxs of my mega-synth...

@etXzat Yes Ubuntu has some quirks when it comes to installing some packages, that is why I build from source and installed in manually.
I want to avoid installing from the official repository since they have outdated versions, see:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/faust
latest current stable is 2.41

Presets don't affect samplers (at least not directly). A preset saves/restores only the controls on you UI.

You probably want something like this:

HISE can't load soundfonts. It can load flac and probably aiff but generally it's best to stick to .wav and then convert them to .ch within HISE. It can also import the mapping data from SFZs.
