@MacroMachines Strange... On mac, you can check in Application Support/HISE/compilerSettings.xml if the path is set.

@yall I just understood exactly the "problem".
when i create a sample map and then put in monolith, the sample map from hise will look for the audio samples in a folder on my pc.
I just changed the folder name of my audio samples and suddenly my compiled vst loads a blank sample map.
it was really a stupid thing

Doh, well it was a simple as setting the Index to zero.

"ProcessorId": "MIDI Player1", "Index": 0

Now the final piece to the Midi Player puzzle for me today is...
How oh how do we setup the UI so a user can drag midi files from the player into their DAW?

Or maybe just make a button on the interface to set the functionality
