I have the same issue.

I've tried importing SFZ files from Virtual Playing Orchestra, and HISE instantly crashes when I do that.

Yeah, CONFIG=Release (case sensitive)

I am guestimating that this might be a bug from the rLottie framework that HISE uses https://github.com/Samsung/rlottie.
There have been updates and bug fixes on the framework since @Christoph-Hart implemented it, so if somehow it's not been updated for HISE then it could possibly do the trick 🤞🏼

Ok I see the problem now. ceilf and similar commands need to have the f removed on GNU/Linux. If you search the forum you will find some references to this. Christoph generally cleans up these issues every few months or so.

The solution is to use a text editor and search and replace on the HISE source code to fix any of these errors. The warnings that you get in the terminal don't matter, it's only the errors you need to worry about.
