@optimistic Just wanted to chime in again and thank everyone for this thread as this did indeed work.

It would be useful if HISE either added this feature in preferences (as it can with the AAX categories) or if there was even just an option to export to Juce. Never built the plugins from Xcode and VS but was surprisingly easy to do so.

@orange I love wavetable synths. Never touched serum but vital.
Do you know tomofon by klevgrand? They have made their own format called "audio model".
I think it's a very interesting tech.

@oskarsh I don't think HISE compiles against JUCE 7. Your best bet may be to port the fix yourself.

@d-healey Yeah, it's not something that (according to the documentation) that it appears you can do. JUCE has hooks for it, and there's a section of HISE that has that places that information as member variables (presumably with public access), but it's commented out. I've recompiled with the code, but I can't reference the variables—it may be a syntax thing, but I can' tell. (There's no error message, just nothing happens.)

Ok followed Davids instructions and built Hise from source on Windows.
Was honestly much easier to do than on Mac even though David said otherwise in his video.

Visual Studio seems clearer than Xcode, and the fact that both SDKs are already in the git folder makes it easier as well I think.

yeah thats ball-park their quote to me 150E / month.

Basically when i extracted SDK.zip i should move that files outside of that uncompressed folder. Just in case someone would look for that trouble too.
