the getName() method is an API added to the API collection of Hise.
If you compile the latest commit of the develop branch from Dave's fork here: https://github.com/davidhealey/HISE/tree/develop
You'll get the Engine.getName() API available. (Engine.getVersion()has been fixed too)

I'd love to, but with my Mac refusing to update and just black screening on restart getting stuck there making updating impossible... now I'm stuck on High Sierra 10.13.5 when I need 10.13.6 to run Xcode 10.

@Lindon Yes, something to keep in mind for sure. I won't introduce it at first, but it is something I will look into adding for future updates (along with a few other things I have in mind) if there is enough interest.

Just wondering if I will run into any problems? I might be overthinking it though, I have that tendency ;)

I estimate my IR total at about 200 mb.

I signed up as my company, but I’m pretty sure that either sole proprietor or company enrolment is fine for notarising. You will need your D.U.N.S number though.

I only had my Apple ID verified and completed end of last week so I haven’t tried notarising anything yet (still working out how to even do it 😂)

If you are unsure about anything though, Apple support were really quick getting back to me when I had questions and they helped me get everything sorted with my enrolment. I just used the contact form on the website. They assigned me an assistant that emailed me everyday and even rang me at one point until I had my account setup. I was pleasantly surprised with the quick support, considering a lot of other companies during the pandemic have only had limited staff on customer service jobs.

Blue ones are send connections.

Also its very useful for debugging customer issues because you can check whether it happens because of a particular DAW or in general (most customers have only one DAW installed)

Can we bump this again? I'm trying to do the exact same thing as everyone above, modulate pan with the Simple Gain module, but the behavior is strange. It will only sort of work if you set the pan to hard right or left and then modulate.

@lalalandsynth A sine wave generator never has an end, a sample does. So you will get different results, unless the sample loops.

Does a multichannel plugin automatically route everything to 1-2 if the user does not assign output channels ? So there is a choice whether to use multi channel or not ?

Or does it always route everything to 1-2 and then you can also get individual channels ? I guess that is the way to do it

Yes, It all a bit dodgy , I do think the graphic design is copyrighted as well but people seem to mostly ignore that .

Setting it to true works if you also enable the opaque button.
