I think you're right, I have successfully built an effect with 17 parameters and everything is working.

What I was referring to before, was a project I had with more than 20 parameters, but my project seems to be badly built and crashed Hise every time I tried to load the dsp.
So I removed a lot of parameters and found other solutions to reduce the amount of parameters, but the compiled network still crashes Hise, my bad...

I moved the ahdsr and the pma to a "midi chain", and I also placed a gain node with -100dB, because the midi chain leaked audio.

I also linked the attack, hold, decay and release to to match with the ahdsr outside the scriptnode fx

It does not work for Script Modulators, though (they are, obviously, not FX). I'm having some issues with these but I'll post that in a separate thread.

@aaronventure theoretically it would allow you to create completely dynamic signal paths but I never found myself using it in a real-world project so it‘s a bit unfinished (some API methods are missing / undocumented etc).

Update.

On windows everything works now. the vanilla project advice you said helped me spotting the issue. (thanks)

The Hise path I set on the settings, had a space typo, with that, creating compilation errors. Trying on mac now to see how can I fix the problem there.

@Casmat @Matt_SF haha I'd take that Math master class too. I'm looking at them thinking "why are there so many?"
