      Needless to say, the final item on the list is a big one.

      Do you have your developer accounts and certificates setup?

        @d-healey

        Nope!
        The client is not a coder and is transitioning from Kontakt lib releases, to Vst releases. Since this is the first product, they will need to get their developer accounts set up, certificates, Juce / Hise licences (they want Hise licence key system and copy protection), and whatever other licences are needed!

        They are aware that they shall need to get this sorted. We just don't know what the steps are: I've never tackled these processes myself, so I am not the best person to advise!

          Most of it is very straightforward, the ugly duckling is Windows Codesigning, lots of shady companies that make it unnecessarily difficult and annoying

            I might be able to help with the following:

            Hise graphics programming - UI (LAF, Paintroutines etc)
            Custom preset browser system (category filtering, search)
            Codesigning and Installer creation (Mac/Windows)

                  Last time I checked the Azure code signing directly from Microsoft was a bit annoying to setup (their backend website is the most confusing thing I've ever seen) but worked fine without having to go to shady 3rd party companies.

                  If you google and search in the JUCE forum there is a step by step guide for plugin developers how to get all done there (and even with that guide it's super complicated).

                    @Christoph-Hart is code-signing a plugin really that difficult? Kinda scaring me lol. Im almost done with 3 plugins due for launch soon and im gonna have to code-sign them all still.

                          @d-healey It's also a pain to deal with them. I've been waiting a month and a half for a confirmation on my application and they have virtually no customer service.

                          On the other hand, assuming your credentials are right (and I presume) your documents are in English, you may have an easier time setting it up.
