@ScreamingWaves I’m not at my computer to make an example or find helpful links, but there’s no need to code for this part. Just connecting the right nodes and assigning parameters.
@mwplugs Do you have auto makeup turned on? I found that the output is way too hot, so I updated the math in another thread.
Also, when the attack and release values are set too low, the signal will have terrible artifacts. I wouldn't use anything lower than .1ms there
@christoph-hart yeah it sounds the same im not sure if it was @d-healey or one of the other very active members had mentioned something about this a few months ago and said using a different VST sdk fixed it. an older one i believe. but i cant find it in the forum anymore. i believe it was using 2.3 and not 2.4 but i dont know where to get 2.3 to try
yeah if you could put some example code for the output meter using a vu meter filmstrip that would be great ive been pulling out my hair the last two days trying to get it to work lol. as far as the compressor i wish i knew the exact coding process to birng dsp code into hise there are tons of great things at musicdsp.org
