      @Chazrox Just single sample import for users, which Audio Loop Player is perfect for. It pretty much works perfectly except for missing a crossfade feature so you can crossfade the loop. Otherwise you just get clicks and pops.

        @paper_lung Yeah, that would be cool addition for sure.

          @dannytaurus I know some people recommend using the 'sample import tutorial' but it adds so much more overhead, plus the project is really buggy.

            Yes, plus 1000 for the crossfade!

              just adding to this, I sometimes find that you might have a perfect loop, but the Audio Loop Player clicks/pops when looping the file. Just adding a small crossfade control would alleviate this.

                @paper_lung If I understand what you are trying to achieve an idea would be to add the gain ADSR envelope and try to adjust the Release knob. It would be the simple or the full envelope. I have made the same on one of my projects and it works pretty fine even with the loop markers edited...

                  @candlefields that would just adjust the amplitude of the instrument though? That's not anything to do with the loop points or crossfading.

                  The current problem with the loop player is that it doesn't have a crossfade - so if you loop a sample and it clicls/pops, there isn't (currently) a solution for that other than using the full sampler, which for some projects adds a lot of unneeded overhead.

                    @paper_lung If the release knob is adjusted correctly the clicks and pops are vanished...I mean minor knob movements..so as at the end of the sample you somehow fade it down...Have you tried it?

                      @candlefields

                      That'll be problematic though in synthesis contexts.
                      It depends what you're doing with the sampler of course, but there are cases where a sample accurate perfect loop is required.

                      But if you're just trying to eliminate clicks, what you described is okay under relaxed circumstances.

                        @griffinboy Yes if we are talking about perfect beat loops mine is not a solution...but for instrument looping its ideal...
