Does anyone know which OpenGL version is using Hise? OpenGL, OpenGL2 or OpenGL3?

First one is CPU oriented.
Version 2 and 3 is using GPU.

As far as I know, OpenGL has some issues with laggy GUI, also some users must update graphic drivers to open plugins. Also on board graphic cards have more issues with OpenGL.

Is it possible to use alternative renderers like Skia Render (Google) or Blender2D or something with less problem?

macOS deprecated OpenGL too by the way.

A compressor with fast release time (100 ms) is controlling other compressors release time (automation is between around 100 & 800 ms). You can put a drum loop into the audio player and hear the result.

@williemays I’ve been diving into HISE the last 2 weeks myself porting some commercial Kontakt instruments to HISE to check whether I could do it at all. I was amazed at how easy some things were compared to Kontakt. There’s a learning curve but I guess you could do it yourself as well. From what I can tell this is an amazing community that really helps and shares a lot! So... And @d-healey has a great YouTube channel and Patreon that you should look into! So much helpful stuff in there...

I try to use variables that align with their property... but sometimes that auto-complete is really handy. Maybe I'll switch it up.

I spoke too soon, the channels can be changed in projucer and as far as the crashing it just need to be cleared before re routing.

@Lunacy-Audio It would be good to have a single/multiple assignment capability via a setting. But in the waiting it would be enough to fix the overwriting issue

This particular case was user error. I had disabled the main Container so it wouldn't play back while I was testing the vst. So I was exporting the plugin with the main container disabled. Doh.
