After 2 hours of downloading Xcode 10, the inevitable happens I'm a bit stuck now as I can't upgrade my OS at the moment. Any suggestions?

Thanks mate. It's starting to make more sense now.
I've had a read and found how to codesign and notarize (I think!) so I will get my JUCE licence started, and speak to Christoph again about getting my HISE licence and it should be ready to roll!
Do I need to get Xcode 10 first? I'm still on 8 at the moment. I don't want to remove 8 if 10 doesn't work on High Sierra? (or if I don't need it to sign or notarize)
I signed up as my company, but I’m pretty sure that either sole proprietor or company enrolment is fine for notarising. You will need your D.U.N.S number though.
I only had my Apple ID verified and completed end of last week so I haven’t tried notarising anything yet (still working out how to even do it )
If you are unsure about anything though, Apple support were really quick getting back to me when I had questions and they helped me get everything sorted with my enrolment. I just used the contact form on the website. They assigned me an assistant that emailed me everyday and even rang me at one point until I had my account setup. I was pleasantly surprised with the quick support, considering a lot of other companies during the pandemic have only had limited staff on customer service jobs.
It's been a while! Hope you're all doing good.
I finally got my Apple Dev licence sorted and am ready to start finalising my first plugins ready for release.
I'm just wondering, which way around do I have to do things with the Apple dev licence, JUCE Licence and of course the HISE licence?
I don't fully know how the serial number system works for adding those into the final plugins yet, or also if there is any code that needs to be added first from JUCE and HISE licences before notarising with Apple (to get rid of splash screens etc) I'm a little stuck at the moment as to what I need to do next and in what order.
I've done some googling and looking around on the forum but not spotted anything that covers the process start to finish.
For making installers, I have packages installed already for Mac, and I have inno setup installed for Windows, but I've not made much sense of inno setup yet.
Thanks for any help or links anyway. Any pointers would be mega helpful on the order that I need to do everything in, so that I don't totally nause it up! I'll do some more research in the meantime...
(..and I almost forgot... I'm still on Xcode 8 at the moment on Mac High Sierra. I assume I need to get rid of that now and get Xcode 10? Does that even work on High Sierra and am I able to notarise using High Sierra? It's version 10.13.5)
@lalalandsynth I usually use a sweep. I've not found any issues with phase so far capturing my 5150. I'm going to experiment some more with it.
This plugin has been pushed down the priority list a little as I have 4 others in line first but I'll be getting back to it very soon
The tick method should work just as well though, from the videos I've seen on it.
I'm also in the middle of setting my apple development ID up as well and just got my DUNS number. I haven't completed the setup process yet as I'm working out a few details still and making decisions, but will also be looking back into how to sign the plugins properly and refreshing the memory as soon as it's done as it looked really complicated when I looked through it all last time.. and then the JUCE license and the HISE license. Lots to keep up with. It's all going to be worth it though after the last year of development. Exciting stuff
@LeeC I didn’t yet dude. Not sure if its possible without being able to use an audio input as a trigger. Theres been a lot of posts the last little bit everyone wanting to get sidechaining to work so I assume until that is possible then we’ll be stuck on this one also. Would be awesome if we can find a way to get it working. I’ll look into it when I get back to my reverb plugin Just finishing up 3 others at the moment but its not far down the list afterwards.
