If anybody has ideas for more templates, let me know, they are pretty easy to add.
Can you add a compressor template with the soft knee option please? Using envelope followers to make a compressor is very hard for those who don't know scriptnode & dsp well.
I think a soft knee option was asked a couples of times. Lots of people would be glad to see this.
Actually it would be great if there is a "How To use Faust in Hise" guide from scratch for non-Faust users. So installing Faust then integrating it to Hise would be much easier.
wow thanks, everyone for this cool feedback! ️
without any doubt, there are still lots of things to learn in this business...
@d-healey said in Link the color and font size to const var?:
I don't know what that means, but good luck :)
Thanks :D It's just like a website template's global color / font linking system. So when you change fonts / font sizes / colors, all of the properties will be updated upon these global styles and you won't have to modify each gui element manually.
All of the Hise made vst fx plugins are showing on "other" category in Cubase.
Could you add vst category?
Also it is very useful to be able to select 2 categories at the same time. In Juce that is possible. Is there a way to add this multiple category feature for both vst and aax plugins?
Guys why these snippets aren't working anymore? Hise gives No table
error.

but I hit a wall trying to make a variational autoencoder so it's on the backburner for the time being.
I think this autoencoder is the thing that makes the sound ultra-realistic. A transfer function is similar to a static wave shaper. But this auto-encoder thing is amazing. A real guitar amp behaves like this!
As you see, the shape has been morphing automatically according to the input signal volume. This is not a standard waveshaper look.
@ulrik This is amazing that's what I exactly need, Thank you so much!
@Lindon You are the man! Thank you so much brother for this generosity. Great model <3
@d-healey That's wonderful and You're a genius mate! Thank you so much!
@d-healey There is no wrong code. Everything is the same but with only "Enable Midi Input FX" difference.
@orange said in Logic Pro & Studio One detect the "Enable Midi Input FX" enabled plugin as a different plugin:
Have you checked the Plug-in Manager in Logic?
If you've enabled the
Enable Midi Input FX
, the plugin type will change from "effect" to "MIDI-controlled effect". I think this is the reason that you've lost the backward compatibility with this type change. Even if the plugin name is the same, since the type is different, Logic will scan the plugin as a different unit, so the previous version (effect) couldn't be found now. I am not sure if it is a bug though.AFAIK, it happens in AU plugins only, but I might be wrong with this.
Yes! This is the cause, Thank you so much Great Find! I compiled the plugin again with Enable Midi Input FX
is set no, the plugin is opened in the DAW project again. Yuppies!
I compiled an fx plugin with Enable Midi Input FX
is disabled. I used it in some Logic Pro projects.
Then I compiled another plugin version with Enable Midi Input FX
is enabled.
The Logic Pro / Studio One don't recognize the new compiled plugin on the DAW project. and it gives "Plugin is not found" error. The new compiled plugin's Name/Plugin Code/ Bundle Identifier...etc everything is the same.
The New compiled Plugin is shown as "MIDI-Controlled Effect".
Is this normal? What can we do about it if the users previously made some projects?
This has been asked countless times before.
How can we customize the analyzer floating tile with cool gradient styles?
Or please just add LAF for that @Christoph-Hart
@orange Wow Thanks! I've just tried and it works great.
I appreciate all of your help guys!
@orange @d-healey that's all great. thank you so much for being so helpful and informative. great information!
