yes, the pitch wheel uses 14bit resolution = +16384. Aftertouch is 7 bit.

I can't reproduce this crash with the latest versions, and it's impossible to fish in the dark with issues like this (I assume it's still the deadlock, but please hook up the debugger to confirm this).

I've made some tiny changes that decreases the duration that the locks are held, maybe this fixes something.

It's the default JUCE scrollbar. You can set the colour of the thumb with the itemColour1 property.

Ah I forgot to hide this behind the USE_TURBO_ACTIVATE macro. I just committed the fix. I checked and the demo_project builds successfully as Standalone on OS X.
