Stupid Quotation marks behavior....
-
@dannytaurus Same for me. You can also write the text first, select it and then add the quotation marks and it will add it to both sides.

@Chazrox which commit are you running?
-
@David-Healey 4.1 and im not moving yet. lol. tbh it used to do what you guys are doing but idek what changed it. I just noticed it started doing that about a month ago but thought it was just for the moment for some reason but maybe some settings changed....
-
@David-Healey I hate to bug for something so small like this but it truly takes too much time in the end.
-
@Chazrox If it only started recently try clearing your HISE settings and see it it works
-
@David-Healey How do I do that?
-
@Chazrox File > Show HISE App Data Folder
Then close HISE, rename that folder to something else. Then reopen HISE, it will create a new settings folder automatically with the default settings.
Test the quotation marks, if it's not fixed then delete the new settings folder and rename the old one back to the original name. If it is fixed you can either delete the old folder or you can go through the individual files and try and find exactly which file caused the issue.
-
@David-Healey it counts the number of quotation marks in the text before. if even => add two. there must be some quote char messing up this logic in your code.

Thank you! omg that was driving me up the wall. Thanks kindly sir!
