@orange yeah this works but its also gone when I reopen the plugin. I tried other fonts and it's still the same. I write my text in Arial in the Input and for the other Label I use the other font. My plan is to create something like a note that stays until you change it

That is strange. But you have now marked the problem as solved. What was your solution? How did it work?

@treynterrio If you set preset save to true in the label, the first initial setting of the plugin and the first preset in the preset list should have this label value. Otherwise, it will give this error because there is no preset.

Do UI fonts actually have to be manually included in the project and not display if the user hasn't installed the exact same font? I thought it was somehow compiled into the vst by default

@Morphoice You need to include it in your project's images folder and load them into your project via scripting.

@d-healey oops. I never did that. is there a fallback to a system font if I havent included it? or will the UI labels just not work?

@Morphoice Yeah I think it falls back to Oxygen or Lato which is included in HISE, or perhaps a system font - knowing Christoph it's probably Comic Sans :p

@d-healey I am using Oxygen though, so that doesn't need to be included manually?

I think so, but test test test - and then let us know.

@d-healey I didn not run into any problems so far on any test system that doesn't have Oxygen installed, but I can't really tell if it's a fallback font or oxygen from within the plugin as the fonts look very silmilar to the untrained eye. I can tell it's not Comic Sans, though ;))))
No complaints about broken fonts so far from either Mac or PC users, and there's no font file in the example projects using oxygen so I think we're safe and Christoph had us covered!

@Oli-Ullmann I was only able to solve the problem by loading it from a .json file. Which was then saved by pressing a button
