Good evening. since there is now time stretching in the scriptnode loop player. do you think it is possible to have a live fx pitch? in order to be able to pitch an audio input live like a little alter boy from Soundtoy?

@yall not using anything in hise but you can try the Faust pitch shifter for this

@DanH I also tried the faust repitcher but in my experience it didn‘t yield mich better sonic results than my toy pitch shifting example from the tutorial repository - the tech is the same and I think if you want high fidelity pitch shifting you need to do that on the FFT level.

@Christoph-Hart Yes it's not great. I tried a RNBO one as well - a little better but once you tune into the repeating sound it becomes rather unusable!

Have been searching for a decent solution but none of the devs have got back to me!

@DanH Found the ~gen pitch shifter to be a bit more robust and produce less artefacts than RNBO's. Unfortunately, RNBO's fft~ is quite terrible and high in CPU so for now it doesn't seem like developing a pitch shifter using RNBO's fft is an ideal alternative either.

@HISEnberg Did you get the patch to work in hise? I get no mix or sound when I insert the patch into hise.
