I've installed from package and compiled from source and it still says 1.6.0 version in the about window

the problems I've found so far:

it empty the whole plugins I had loaded in previews version, it means it erase every single one of them, so is not working on my end (Mac)

@jay It says 1.6 on mine too, thought it might just be the version number text hasn't been updated. Working great here though, loading up old projects fine, also on Mac.

@jay That sucks. Have you checked it's not something to do with the project folders? I noticed on one project the main container had changed it's name and it wouldn't load right, changed the name back and it worked fine. I had it under a save called 'template_v1.001.' It had automatically changed the main container to be called that, didn't like the '.', so changed it to 'template_v1_001' and it was ok.

                @Christoph-Hart :
Did I ever tell you that I love you?

                Would you marry me ?

no, wait HISE 3.0 to formalize our union;)

works with VS2015 or must have 2017 ?

                Excuse me i'm French.

After compiling newest HISE 2.0 I am no longer seeing the text in the preset browser where you enter the bank/category/preset names. Anyone else getting this or just on my end ?

                            Edit:

If I add a new floating tile preset browser I can see the text names there, only doesn't show them when I use the star icon next to the home icon at the top of HISE.

What about that visual 'scripting' environment you've shown little bits of before? I'm highly interested in that feature.

Good afternoon all! I want to ask for the help as it is correct to compile version 2.0.0 on Linux. I have on the screen such mistake:
                                  make: *** [Makefile:153: build/intermediate/Release/MainComponent_a6ffb4a5.o] Error 1
Version 1.0.6 is compiled on all distribution kits of Linux without mistakes.
                                  Compiling MainComponent.cpp error.
Sorry, I am absolutely a beginner in programming, I only study.

Yeah, I was a bit overambitious here - there's a minimal working prototype but to get it from some simple hello world examples to a system that can actually create useful things is a way too long road.

I might reuse some parts of this projects when I am working on a new system to coallescate multiple FX into one module, but even this is future music at the moment.

Thanks you very much Christoph ! Compilation took place successfully on Fedora 28, I think and on other distribution kits everything will be excellent also. Well and now it is possible to go further, on steps of studying of Hise.

@christoph-hart That's a shame - I was interested in that for the purpose of tinkering with various forms of physical modeling.
