Ok, it doesn't seem to work, I'm afraid. Avid still sees a list o million possible configurations.

Is there anything I could do about it?

@tomekslesicki Are you on PT HD? Here's what I think you're seeing:

(outputs availiable from your plugin / output busses available in PT)

On my PT Native rig, I only see (stereo/stereo) cause Native does not have access to the surround busses. You have to go to Setup -> I/O in PT and change your output configuration to remove those surround busses from the list.

It's in the Dev version, which is based on HD 12 I think. I tried changing the I/O settings and it doesn't help. Also, other plugins like Kontakt or Softube Paralles that I also have installed on the system display as stereo only. It's just my stuff that gets this ton of additional options for some reason.

Ok, I researched this further and it seems like these additional outputs are only in the dev version. However, end users still see a stereo / mono option. My stuff is the only one that has this. How can I get rid of this and make the plugins stereo only for AAX?

Ok, it seems like some users see the surround versions too. It’s only on HISE plugins and I guess it might have it’s uses but it’s making a mess of the list. @Christoph-Hart there must shurely be a way to get rid of this somehow :-)

Sorry I don't have time right now to debug Protools, but I am sure it can be solved by changing some things in this file:

Also make sure that HI_SUPPORT_MONO_CHANNEL_LAYOUT is not set.
