I am using 3 samplers in a Syntheziser group and wanted to use the unisono but when I enable them I get a tick on note on.
      This must be a bug , I guess ?

Alos getting a massive tick when trying to use an ADSHR on a Moog filter ?

Aaand ticks when playing MIDI when I use more then one sampler in a Synthesizer group.

EDIT: Abandoning Groups alltogether and now using 3 samplers independantly ...no ticks when playing the samplers.
      I guess groups dont work.

Don't use the Moog filter, it's bad, in fact I'll remove it in the next version. Use the Ladder filter, it sounds similar (24dB/Octave) but without these nasty artifacts.

I haven't used multiple samples in one group for a longer time, but the ticks (I assume you mean "clicks") come from the fact that the unisono feature has to randomly skip the sample start a little bit to avoid nasty phasing issues and should be solveable with a short envelope attack time (about 5ms).

I tried that , did not help , will explore further.

I had to abandon using groups as when I had more then one sampler in the group i would get clicks when played , even with no unisono. It would be nice to be able to use the groups ,but I can get by now with linking all the adsr of the 3 samplers.

Also, small issue , when using 3 samplers either in a group or separate , when disabling one of them the audio cuts out .
In my case I am making a synth that enables disables additional sample maps /samplers via a switch , but audio cuts out when switching the sampler on off.

@lalalandsynth dont disable the samplers - use a simple gain on each one...set to -100dB and engage when you want the sampler disabled.

@Lindon It's probably better to use a MidiMuter, that way voices won't be wasted.

@d-healey that is why i wanted to use the disable , will look into a midi muter. Am i not running into the risk of hanging notes that way ?

@lalalandsynth Not if you enable the Fix stuck notes button.

The problem with using the midi muter for switching is that it needs a retrigger , so not suitable for a Switch on the GUI.

                    Also.
After trying everything with the groups , it seem that they are too buggy .
I get clicks even when not using the unisono and also the occasional hanging note.

What do you mean needs a retrigger?

Say you have an organ and you have switches for 2" 8" 16" and you use the midi muter to switch them on/off.
When you switch any of them while holding a note , nothing happens , not until you play another note, which makes sense as a midi muter I guess but not for a switch on the GUI.

@lalalandsynth Ah I see, that's new information which completely changes the approach I would take. I'd probably use a MIDI muter (for future notes) in combination with a script effect (or simple gain) to dip the gain smoothly.

Ok, will look into that , thanks !
