Overview, intro videos and AI....

Is anyone using one of the AI tools to make intro/marketing videos for products, the sort that just show the UI and list the feature set whilst playing audio from the plugin? If so which one?

@Lindon I literally just finished the demo video for my new plugin.

I do it by hand still. I use Screenflow and record plugin clips from the DAW, then add very simple text animations.

Interested to hear if anyone uses AI for this.

Not something I've explored for demo videos but might be something Claude Design can help with.

It uses Remotion, which is itself code-based (React, TypeScript/JavaScript JSX/TSX) so it's easily accessible to agents.

Remotion doesn't create videos like the usual AI video generators that synthesise a video stream. In Remotion you create a storyboard and requirements in code, then it renders it frame by frame into an MP4 container.

This means it's version controlled, editable and predictable.

@dannytaurus yeshthat looks interesting, I guess I am going to have to wait until I have Claude up and running for myself, rather than the free public version, and that may well be waiting until I've moved house, now if only I could find an AI agent to do that for me.....

@Lindon I released 2 plugins about a week ago and both used ChatGPT to help create the Intro and Walkthrough videos.

I worked with Chat through the entire process creating the script, timeline, styling, etc etc etc.

The end product is Chat putting it all together. I only had 1 or 2 revisions and I was happy.

To be honest, the time saved was ridiculous and it tuned out better than I would do anyway.

@David-Healey It's not perfect but I'm still figuring it out. Chat may not be the best option but I think it did pretty well. I have high hopes once its dialed in.
