Macro Modulator curve?

I've been looking into the macro modulation system and I found that they have a slight 'curve' to the shape, for example a Square LFO doesn't sound like a square compared to the LFO modulators - it sounds like it has a slight curve. Is this a bug?

@paper_lung You're example has a slight fade-in time to it. Otherwise I don't hear the difference between the two modulators.

@HISEnberg Yeah the slight curve is what I'm talking about. Is it a known issue?

@paper_lung it's not a bug, but a limitation of the macro modulation system which has a lower resolution than a modulation chain - that's why there are modulation chains at all in the first place which give you the ability to modulate parameters with high accuracy.
The macro modulation just moves the knob very fast and in this example you'll hear the smoothing of the frequency parameter knob in action.
