      @clevername27 I feel you!

      I stopped creating my own plugins because I wouldn't be getting into it enough to fit it to my requirements (I leave that up to the real developers that have way more skills for that matter). But nevermind… It was a lot of fun to experiment with this framework.

      And not to forget: This is a great community here! I never experienced a forum that helped me out so much. Salute to you, @d-healey and the great master @Christoph-Hart !

      Funny to play around, but I think Microsoft has yet to improve it to some degree. I just asked for a dog with a parrot beak and I'm not content with the results…

      But I will keep trying. I hope we can use it for something like filmstrips for knobs. That seems to be a pretty automation friendly task I guess.

      Veery nice! Now I have a smooth logarithmic decay stopping at about -100dB.

      And it was a charme to see how easy HISE can be recompiled. Never thought, I would do such things :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

      @Christoph-Hart Do I have to set that to zero like

      if (state->current_value == 0.000f)

      ?

      @Dan-Korneff You mean, chances are it would help to change that in the source and recompile HISE?

      @aaronventure I created a Scriptnode Envelope Modulator in the Gain Processor slot and sticked in a simple_ar [poly]… It obviously gets triggered when I press a key but no sound is heard.

      BUMP…

      No ideas on this, anyone? Very sad to not have this working. It would be a feature of very use for high quality synthesis.

      Showing the XML of the envelope revealed there's indeed EcoMode="1.0" but it seems it can't be set to 0. When I change it to 0 in my text editor, it still remains 1.0 with next HISE session.

    • Audio stops when Envelope Decay reaches -61 dBFs – Bug or setting?

      Merry Christmas!

      I'm trying to get a smooth amplifier decay on some continuously playing samples. But the AHDSR envelop seems to stop the sound immediately when it reaches about -61 dBFs. Is this a bug or just a setting that can be changed somehow? Is it just something like an Eco-Mode like it was on filters etc?

    • Build my plugins on a new Windows machine

      So far, I only compiled my plugins for mac and all worked fine. Now a friend switched to a new windows machine and want's to have them run on there. Since I'm not familiar with Windows, can you please tell me, what (free) tools I need to compile for a recent Windows?

      Would this be just the Visual Studio Community Edition?

      @d-healey I don't think this is specific to Cubase. I have some other Plugins running that only show a list that is limited to the Parameters that are used by the interface so it seems to be a setting given by the build.

    • Allowed characters in UI element IDs

      I'd like to give my UI controls names like TRIG MODE (Kbd / GM Drum Map). So I used the field Text for that but it turned out this doesn't exactly do what I want: Show this string when I add a UI control to my Cubase Quick Controls. What's shown there, is the ID name of the UI element, So I tried to put my nice readable string into the ID field. As you'd expect, it won't accept that input and tells me to not use blank spaces. But to my surprise, when I only entered TRIG MODE by accident, it was accepted. So it seems whitespace is not a problem but rather the parentheses and/or slash or maybe the character count exceeded a given limit.

      So I wonder: What kind of characters are accepted for IDs? Can stuff like parentheses and slashes be used but only when given as some entity?

      @maxtownsley use the 4 pole Ladder, instead. The Moog seems to be stuck in a draft mode, but the Ladder LP does a great job
