LFO functionality (Rhythm Editor etc.)
-
@d-healey I would share my screen if you're on the discord channel.
Because a screenshot can't show how dynamic this system is.
This is the double curve:
-
@UD-AUDIO Thanks. I just wanted to get an idea if it was something you can already do with HISE, it is :)
-
@DanH Oh yeah I forgot that function! Thanks for reminding :)
But do you know how to get back to 50%? Ctrl, shift or alt aren't working I guess.. -
@d-healey But you can't combine those curve types like this chaotic example:
-
@UD-AUDIO Scroll until the line is straight again. Would be helpful is there was a curve percentage overlay, or even just a grid pattern behind the curve.
-
@d-healey I meant in the interface table :)
It jumps from 47 and 52 if I move from 0 to 100
and jumps from 53 to 48 if I move from 100 to 0 -
But you can't combine those curve types like this chaotic example:
You can add table points through scripting to create any kind of crazyness you like.
It jumps from 47 and 52 if I move from 0 to 100
and from 53 to 48 if I move from 100 to 0You're right! Make a bug report/feature request :)
-
@d-healey Problem is, I'm a newbie in scripting.
But I do understand most things which are not that complicated.
I think we should wait for HISE future updates before going too experimental
with things that could have big changes in some time.It's on the roadmap now!

In FL Studio there is a plugin called "Fruity peak controller", which also has LFO.
But it's speed knob range goes from 0.01 to 512.00 steps
and you can go from grainy sound to slow motion,
which is superb!In tremolator you can also set it very slow.
-
@d-healey - I actually meant just use and LFO and set the waveshape to Mode = 7... then apply some smoothing to taste and you can get al lsorts of shapes - clearly you cant see them well but it does work,.
-
@UD-AUDIO I Seen This Semi-Bug Before
There is no Way To Move The Point To The 50%
It Jumps To 51%
Or 49/47% -
@Natan Added this bug to the roadmap yesterday :)
-
@UD-AUDIO this 50% thing is absolutely fine here....
-
@DanH Did you scroll the curve to 100% first?
-
@d-healey yep, and zero
-
@DanH Are you able to scroll in increments of 1?
-
@d-healey yup, apple magic mouse or whatever its called, maybe a sensitivity thing?
-
@DanH Then that's why there is no problem for you, your mouse has higher resolution than ours, I can only scroll in increments of 2.
-
@d-healey finally something apple is useful for!
-
@DanH Masking problems :p
