Realtime changes in Sine and Waveform gen?

I havent messed around with the synth parts of Hise much , just looking at them now , wondering if I am stuck with non-realtime changes to Octave/Semitones and Detune , they only change on a Note On which would feel weird when designing a sound on a synth , maybe this is different using scriptnode ?

I hope its possible somehow as I dont think I have ever encountered a synth that makes the changes to the OSC on note on?

I could possibly use a constant modulator for the detune but not the octave.

Thoughts ?

EDIT; Rereading my post I can see that I am unclear , I want to be able to change Octave in a synth module and it changes even while I hold a note , as it stands I can move the Octave knob and nothing changes until I retrigger the synth.

@lalalandsynth Have you messed with Pitch modulators?? Maybe this is what you need. (use mod wheel to call aliens)

@hisefilo i will check that snippet when i come home but i was referring to the octave and detune knobs on the actual sine and waveform module ,will this snippet circumvent that issue ?

If I was to use these controls on a synth , they dont update their value unless I retrigger note which kind of makes them not usable for making a synth .

they're not supposed to be what you use for pitch changes - use the Pitch Modulators - the ones in purple in your image...

Maybe I am just misunderstanding but I dont want to modulate the Octave as such , I just want a knob on my synth that can change the Octave, or Detune , while I hold a note i.e without having to retrigger it.

.Just like on a regular synth where I would put these on the front panel and they react in realtime , not only on note retrigger.

I cant use the constant to change the detune of Osc 1 or 2, only both at the same time.
Also It will only go an octave up or down so not usable as an octave switcher.

Is it possible to fix this at some point , makes it hard to use the oscillators for a basic synth.

To reiterate , the Octave and semi tones only change their value on Note On , rather then realtime, which is unexpected for a user if used in a synth.

I am not referring to modulation , just the basic setting of octave , Semi tone and detune of an oscillator.
