HISE player

when watching the video Build A HISE Player Library in 1 Minute at around the 1:03 mark the HISE Player Library is imported into what looks like a light weight version of the HISE application or HISE player
I looked but am unable to find this player.
I managed to build both the standalone and the VST versions of HISE successfully (on Debian 9.8)
the VST is recognized as a VST instrument however when loaded, it loads the full application
the files built and placed in ~/.vst are:
HISE.a 183.1 MB
HISE.so 89.2 MBI installed the Windows version using WINE to verify and it is the case in Windows too....
is there a light weight HISE player for Linux (or Windows) as shown in this video?
if so how would it be executed or activated?

@oddyotrax Hise is a creators plugin. Very much same in standalone as also in the plugin. Compile(create vst/au) your projects to create your very own custom plugins. It’s that good!

I don't think Christoph is actively developing the HISE player at the moment. More people prefer to export directly as a plugin so he put the player on hold for the time being.

thanks for the replies!!!

The website needs updating then, @Christoph-Hart if you need a hand with the website, I have no problems at all updating it for you gratis, obviously we all prefer you to be knees deep in HISE rather than web work, but the site should be up to date and possibly even have a bit of blog with incremental updates.

@Win-Conway There is actually a blog which used to be linked from the main page but has been hidden away for some reason - https://forum.hise.audio/category/10/blog-entries
A blog link on the main page would definitely be a good idea.

We are currently rewriting the entire documentation so I am already heads deep in web stuff ;)

Ahh well, I offered ;)

I just registered hisehub.com for my own purposes, Once it propagates i am going to take those blog posts in the forum and put them in a developer blog on the site ;)
