      Is there anything like the "audio loop player" for midi? It would be great to drag and drop midi loops into instruments.

          Yes, sensible request. I'll be working on a drum plugin project in the foreseeable future which also requires this, so the chances of it being added are rather high.

                Last question can the midi be edited are randomized once you drag then into the midi player?

                    @Christoph-Hart Once you drag and drop your midi file into the midi player, is it then possible to edit or randomize them?

                      Yes, but there are no premade tools for it, you'll have to write them yourself using the scripting API.
