@hisefilo mate, we are ALL here just to steal your work....
-
@Lindon LOL his profile says 2 visits and just one post... This one :P
-
I even created this forum to get your plugin for free ;)
-
@Christoph-Hart I will register a new user named "Chirstoph Hart" right now to see if I can get RuleTec for free :P
-
@hisefilo No worries. Haha, no mate, I didn't. I only just recently discovered HISE and have been studying it the last week or so trying to get my head around it ready to start building my next batch of plugins. I usually develop Kontakt libraries so this is my first venture into standalone vst development. I was interested to see what a finished library looks like and spotted yours when I joined the forum so was going to test it and have a look before I delved into making my own, but no problem. Clearly the noob is good for a grilling and obviously just here for free stuff lol

@SteveRiggs sorry pal. My apologies. Use nfr88439 code. This is not a sampled instrument but a spectral modeled one.
-
@hisefilo It's cool mate haha.
Awesome stuff. Thanks. I'll get it installed and report back. I'm very interested to see how finished instruments turn out, especially a non sampled one. I've only had a quick go with the sampler and the sine generator so far getting a feel for the interface. I noticed there is a wavetable synth in there as well and a bunch of other stuff! Impressive.

@hisefilo Impressive job on the Markus 88. Just had a quick blast and tried a side by side comparison with Lounge Lizard. Yours definitely cuts through more in the 1k - 3k region where I've always felt Lounge Lizard lacks a bit. The spectral analyser looks pretty much identical on both other than that so you've definitely nailed the sound and it holds its own next to it. There is a very slight difference with warmness between the two. It's no deal breaker but maybe you could boost a bit of the lower mid range and add some saturation to compensate? Other than that though, it's killer! CPU wise, just with the 88 open I'm only getting about 6% on the load meter in Ableton. Good times mate. Thanks for letting me try it out.
-
thanks @SteveRiggs :) happy to hear you like it and for taking the time to compare it with the AAS product. HISE is a extremely powerful tool. You can create something in a Kontakt style, which is pretty straightforward, or even custom C++ modules for more sophisticated things. I love it!
-
@hisefilo You're welcome mate. I'm seriously impressed with HISE so far. Can't wait until I've worked it all out properly. As soon as the penny drops on how to assign the knobs on the interface designer to parameters in the back end I'll be laughing. Been scratching my head going round in circles for about 2 hours now. Proper noob! I'll get there!

@SteveRiggs Check @d-healey channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvr9isxq3sSbj-dcKPKyJZA/videos
bout the interfase designer

@hisefilo Thanks dude. I've been going over and over these videos the last few days. I know I spotted it in one of them before about how you link them up. I'm just trying to find the right part again now and which video its in.
-
@SteveRiggs This is the video you want. I just made it ;) You might need to wait 10 minutes or so for the high q version to finish processing.
-
@d-healey Amazing. Thanks. I'll check it in second then :)
-
@d-healey Perfect mate. Finally got it working. Thank you. Please keep the tutorial videos coming. Mega helpful for noobs like me
