      In a complex synthesizer group, I have a couple of oscillators, one of which being a sine for sub. How can I make that one not affected by the filter section? Or route it so the sine is added after the filter section, without having to put it in a separate synthesizer group and doubling all oder hundreds of parameters?

      If I were to add it to the SynthGroup's FX section (which has the filter) as a say ScriptFX it wouldnt be affected by the envelope nor receive midi, so that's not an option and unfortunately a scriptnode synthesizers is not giving me all the options I used to create the exact waveforms I need. the scriptnode oscillators dont even have PWM

        @Morphoice Yes PWM would be a lovely addition to SNEX. In the Sub's FX section could you try using a global send and receive to route the signal to after the Filter (or anywhere else for that matter)? Create a Polyphonic Script FX in the Sub's FX section, add a Global Send (Stick a math.clear node after it). Then after the Filter add a Script FX and in there add a Global receive to get the Sub signal...

          @DanH that works, but also bypasses the envelope of the ScriptSynth. I'd have to have a redundant second envelope on the sine, but why not. Thanks

            @Morphoice you didn't mention the scriptsynth - where does that fit in?

              @DanH sorry I meant SynthGroup, it's not a scriptSynth

                @Morphoice ok. Why would that bypass the group's envelope? It's in the group with the other synths?

                  @DanH I reckon the filter is processed after the envelope? If I put any sound generating FX on a filter chain it runs indefinitely, also the Global Return

                    @Morphoice I'm totally confused 😆 I'd need to see your module tree I think to understand.

                    Where's the envelope? What's it doing? I assumed you were referring to a gain envelope set in the SynthGroup

                      @DanH this is the tree. If I hit a note I just get a neverending sine sound

                          @Morphoice ah that is indeed very weird. Perhaps a bug?

                          @Christoph-Hart would you mind taking a look please? I've routed a Waveform Gen out of a polyphonic script fx and back into the parent Synth Group's FX chain in a script fx.

                          Once you play a note the note continues forever...

                              I mean it should be a very simple - take audio from here, and bus it over there...

                              I can't see why anything should be needed to make that happen.

                                @d-healey i thought that was for silent synth using compiled scriptnode oscillators, but that will be how I'm trying to make things next anyways as I managed to make some very pleasing faust oscillators
