Yes the pitch modulation should really be at least +/- 24, arguably much higher. Is this possible to add in please @Christoph-Hart ? :)

@DanH I think you can do this by adding two pitch modulations nodes, one after another.

I've added a simple drum synthesiser snippet to the browser.

It's definitely not a "real" drum synth, but it shows how to modulate the pitch of an oscillator with a envelope and how to render a preview of the sample as a waveform using the recorder node.
