Possible? Sure. Reasonable considering the amount of work making sure that all plugins work? No.

@Christoph-Hart @d-healey....what about being able to host other compiled HISE-based AU/VSTs? like rhapsody does...but for our own scenarios? So like if I've developed 3 different VSTs on my own and I want to build a container that basically can host my own developed plugins in there...I can think of a couple of ways to develop something like that but im sure it would be inefficient...this may already be possible...but just not in the way im thinking

@johnmike When you say "VST" what do you mean exactly?

@johnmike just as simple as me being able to load my own developed vsts into a container of sorts...kinda like my own Kontakt...not as sophisticated...but just something I could use to house my in-house products in...

@johnmike A vst is one format of audio plugin, so do you mean vst or do you mean virtual instrument or something else?

@johnmike Do you want to sell instruments for your main base plugin? I think you can do that with expansions.

I have an idea( although I guess it is not possible OR difficult) .
Lets say I have a Synthesizer plugins. Later I develop an effect plugins. The synthesizer plugins will host that effect plugins. If this is possible it will be a revolutionary idea.

                          The benefits:

                          • I don't need to touch my Synthesizer if I want to update the effect plugin.

                          • Dont need to touch Synth plugin If I Develop more effects plugins for it.

                          • In Development perspective it will be easy.

                          • From selling/ distributing point of view it will be easy.

                          • If a user doesn't want he/she might exclude it rather handling full packs of effects plugins inside a Synthesizer that he/she doesn't want.

@DabDab well there's certainly room to explore this right now.

How or why is there no mention of this anywhere? Here's a quick demo. Works in compiled VST3i on Windows. HiseSnippet 2203.3oc4Y80abbaDeOKuN4NG6z.zf9J6gBnSnJ...

Now, how one would dynamically load a network from the script is a mystery. There are rumours of a secret Scriptnode API existing which allows for fully dynamic networks but it's likely not fleshed out.
