@Lindon well you can use them in uncompiled networks.

@Christoph-Hart off topic but is there a limit to the number of sliders I can use in a HardcodedMasterFX? The first 16 work, but anything after that doesn't move anything in the HCFX module... And the plugin breaks logic.

          ah, here: https://forum.hise.audio/topic/7626/scriptnode-synthesizer-how-to/16?_=1700644767583

Could we get a preprocessor for this perhaps?

@Christoph-Hart so is a global mod node a complete no-no in a compiled network?

Did this ever get resolved? I'd really like to use a global_mod in my compiled scriptnode work....

did you find a way around it?

@Lindon either build the LFO inside scriptnode or try using a global cable who's value is controlled by a global lfo node in a different, uncompiled, network... There was a question mark over the accuracy of this method by I never got round to testing it. @oskarsh did you?

yeah I really want to try and use Global LFOs in all my projects from now on....

@Lindon I think the key might be to build the LFO once (or use the example Christoph made).

Keep the LFO network as the starting point for all your scriptnode designs where you'll need it, and then it won't be an issue.

But yeah, annoying all the same!

No this isnt going to work for me - thanks for the suggestion tho - my instruments have a set of Displayed modulators in the Ui that they can drag to any modulation target - so I need them to be Global modulators - so Im not massively increasing the amount of work to set up and co-ordinate different modulation sources - never mind to actually get them to stay in sync,

@Lindon well try the global cable route. That'd what I would do. I'd expect it to be accurate enough...
