@ospfeigrp The post Didn't clear me. So what do I do? what to copy and replace from Xcode12.app/Contents/Developer/usr/bin/Rez. ?

Can you demonstrate a little? in my XCODE.app (show package content) 10 there is no Rez folder. If I do wrong it will be a total mess. So can you help me? as I'm a new Mac user.

@Tania-Ghosh delete 'Rez' and 'Res merger' from Xcode10
then show contents of xcode12 and copy 'Rez' and Res merger' files and then back in xcode10 show contents and contents/Developer/usr/bin and paste the two files you just copy from Xcode 12

should be good to go then

@ospfeigrp Yeeeepieeee.....Compiled successfully. Uffff... what a Relief you can't imagine. My brother @Rudra-Ghosh gifted me Mac Air. Now I will make him proud. @ospfeigrp thank you so much.
One last question...Do I need to codesign? Because If I codesign it's throwing error. Without codesign it has been compiled.

                      ....well the strangest of things......

So I was attempting to build an AU plugin for a project here:

                      Macintosh HD II/Nightfox/AnalogElectrics

and I got the Rez and Res merger problem

                      I moved my project to:

                      Untitled/AnalogElectrics

                      and it compiles correctly.

Untitled is a removable drive I use to transfer stuff between Windows and MacOS

So I'm mystified why this should work but it does....how very very odd.

Hi guys. Got a new MacBook Pro with MacOs Big Sur. I'm afraid to compile Hise. Will it work with this operating system?

@nesta99 I think XCode 10.3 doesn't play along nicely with Big Sur. I've read on a forum that you can get it to work somehow... but it is all a bit shaky...

@d-healey No. I just had to install Big Sur on my MacBook Air (nowhere near M1) the other day and quickly gave it a try. Which then led to that error message in XCode 10.3... No, I am normally working on my main machine a MacPro with OSX Catalina...
