Midi Fx plugin

Has anyone created a midi fx plugin?

I'm interested in trying to create one and I'm wondering if anyone has had success and can point me in the right direction to get started on this project!

@Eskano - currently no midi out form HISE - fingers crossed for this feature in V3...

You can export a MIDI plugin already... You just can't add an additional MIDI output to a VST instrument.

@Christoph-Hart I'm in desperate need of midi out functionality for exported VSTs. Still waiting as patiently as a saint! Hoping that we'll see this implemented at some point in the future.

You can‘t. I said you can export a Midi FX plugin already that does Midi in -> Midi out. In that case it just processes all midi processors of the root container.

@lalalandsynth i think you need to ask this in the JUCE forum, I don‘t know whether its possible to open a midi output from a plugin (which you are doing already in your standalone if I understand correctly).

@Christoph-Hart We only need MIDI , no audio , so can it be done via the MIDI fx plugin ?

What we need is to send a sysex stream for settings , LFO as CC and MIDI note as trigger.

Maybe @jonhallur can chime in here as he is the one doing the programming and has got the Standalone working.
