      Ok - I've been struck by the monolith creation problem yet again - this part of HISE gets no better from my perspective, it really really badly needs to be made more robust:

      So: I've created my sample maps, and have all my samples in the Samples directory;

      here's what an example sample map looks like:

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

      <samplemap ID="EarthAffected" RRGroupAmount="1" MicPositions=";" SaveMode="2">
        <sample Root="60" LoKey="55" HiKey="66" LoVel="0" HiVel="127" RRGroup="1"
                FileName="{PROJECT_FOLDER}EarthAffected 060.wav" Duplicate="0" LoopEnabled="1"
                LoopStart="127534" LoopEnd="333839" LoopXFade="23456"/>
        <sample Root="72" LoKey="67" HiKey="72" LoVel="0" HiVel="127" RRGroup="1"
                FileName="{PROJECT_FOLDER}EarthAffected 072.wav" Duplicate="0" LoopEnabled="1"
                LoopStart="127534" LoopEnd="333839" LoopXFade="23456"/>
        <sample Root="24" LoKey="19" HiKey="30" LoVel="0" HiVel="127" RRGroup="1"
                FileName="{PROJECT_FOLDER}EarthAffected 024.wav" Duplicate="0" LoopEnabled="1"
                LoopStart="127534" LoopEnd="333839" LoopXFade="23456"/>
        <sample Root="36" LoKey="31" HiKey="42" LoVel="0" HiVel="127" RRGroup="1"
                FileName="{PROJECT_FOLDER}EarthAffected 036.wav" Duplicate="0" LoopEnabled="1"
                LoopStart="127534" LoopEnd="333839" LoopXFade="23456"/>
        <sample Root="48" LoKey="43" HiKey="54" LoVel="0" HiVel="127" RRGroup="1"
                FileName="{PROJECT_FOLDER}EarthAffected 048.wav" Duplicate="0" LoopEnabled="1"
                LoopStart="127534" LoopEnd="333839" LoopXFade="23456"/>
      </samplemap>

      I've run it through an on-line validation and it finds no errors, but:

      When I select Tools>Convert all samples to Monolith + Sample Map
      The dialog opens I press OK, and it says something( "Writing...." ) but I cant read the rest as it disappears completely and fails to build any .ch file.s.. (I have over 130 sample maps in the folder..)

      anyone got any idea what I'm now doing wrong?

            @Lindon well it works (sorta so far) if I do each individual samplemap - but the batch thing is a bust.

              @Lindon I found the same thing. I gotta do them individually

                @Lindon . Yep. I can also second that at this point it is needed to do them individually.

                Why so many samples.... ok ... I still need more :D

                  Ok so basically that reencode all samplemaps function is broken, yes?

                  It‘s weird because we‘ve used that function to create the entire PercX content, but it‘s all expansions and maybe something broke when trying to encode the embedded content.
