Testing a FX in HISE

Is it possible to get an audio signal into HISE when developing a Audio FX so you can test it without compiling it.
The project type is set to "FX Plugin" and I have chosen my interface under Audio Settings. Is there any settings I've missed, like which input on the interface that should be routed to HISE?

@Sampletekk Last I heard, it wasn't possible.

Workaround is to use an Audio Loop Player module and put your test signal in there.

@Sampletekk you can compile and run HISE itself as as an audio plugin (AU/VST3). From there you can load ut into a DAW and feed a live signal

@Sampletekk can you load an audio file into the controller panel for testing? I know it works for midi.
