      @d-healey I forget to say that in my monography I reffered you and your work with HISE and with your youtube channel, that helps a lot to learn about HISE. :)

      Hey, @d-healey
      Last month I was working on my graduation project, writing a lot. Yesterday I did sumbit the finished work and now I can return to the development of my sampler.

      I didn't try to export the plugin in others computers yet. I'm planning to do it this week. WHen I test it I come to share what happened.

      Thanks!

      @gabriel-strozi Do you have another computer you can test on?

      I asked my friend to use him computer. Probably next days few days I'll do this test and see what happens.

      Have you validated the AutogeneratedProject.jucer file in the Binaries folder? I suspect you have a weird character somewhere in a field which breaks the XML parser.

      I don't see any "AutogeneratedProject.jucer" in my Binaries folder, only the following sub-folders/files:

      Inside "temp":

      Is it missing?

      The errors remain!
      @Christoph-Hart could you help us to understand what's happening, please?

      The reason you shouldn't do this is in case the numbers are changed in the future.

      Makes much sense! It's a relevant reason!
      Let's rewrite some code hahah

      Getting the sampler with the Synth.getSampler("Sampler1") you can change between Normal/Oneshot using the parameter ID from Module Browser instead of using the parameter name:

      Sampler1.setAttribute(10, value);

      The Sampler parameters are:
      e2992980-ba47-4f92-a0ee-e041c9c7dfc3-image.png

      It worked for me as well.

      It worked! Now I just have to cut the samples and create new SampleMaps for the reverse Sampler.

      Thank you so much!

      @Gabriel-Strozi Try Sampler1.setAttribute(Sampler1.OneShot, value)

      Also didn't work. Nothing changes

      Use a different sampler and sample map for the reverse mode, then you can cut the samples exactly how you need them.

      I'll try it! And how can I switch between Normal and One Shot playback? I'm trying to use

      Sampler1.setAttribute("OneShot", value);

      But don't work. Any suggestions?

      Actually, I'm struggling right now to simple change between Normal, One Shot, Reversed and Reverse One Shot. It seems to miss an attribute for that. It's possible to change between this settings by code?

      I got. The problem is that I already have a User Preset working like Mr. Healey techs, using combobox to change sample maps. To make another samplemap exchange system, would be really hard to me to understand how! I need to think about it and about how big the change on the code would be.

      I tried a bit to use this SampleStart feature, but when the playback is set to reverse, this parameter works in a strage way.

      I will explore more.

      Nice!! Importing the snippet right now. I'll try to understand and develop from there! Thank you so much!

      @Gabriel-Strozi the start point can be modulated:

      Hmmm, really cool! I'll play with this setting!

      Give me a sec and I'll try and make a snippet for the sample length

      Ok, thank you so much! By the way, I never imported a snippet. I need to open a new project for that?

    • Changing the start point of the samples on reverse playback mode by code

      Hey guys,
      I'm working in a metal instrument sampler and I have a question. But before the question, I need to explain some points:

      • Because it's a percussive instrument, the samples has different lengths (I cutted each sample differentle depending on the duration of each recording);

      • I created a button that allows user choose the playback setting between Normal, One shot, Reverse and Reverse One Shot;

      • If the user set Reverse One Shot, the transient of the sound will comes up in a different moment, because each sample has different legths, so the duration of the fade-in (in the reverse reproduction) will be different, right?

      Ok. The solution is: if the user set Reverse One Shot, I want to set the same length for each sample played. Doing this I'll be able to garantee that ever transient will comes up in regular time, making the reverse feature much more useful.

      After all this, how can I control the length and the starting point of each sample by code? Any suggestions?

      Thanks in advance!

      This is weird, maybe Christoph will know what's happening when he'll be back. Did you try exporting other projects to see if that happens too ?

      Yeah, this is really weird. I tried to export my prototype project, my current project and some generic projects that I created just for exporting tests. In all cases I got the same errors :/

      Waiting for Christoph return! :)

    • Errors at exporting: "unmatched tags" and "Project XML Invalid"

      Hello HISE friends!

      Every time a try to export my project I get the following error:
      80a3747f-1b11-40a5-b37c-f935051eeef6-image.png
      Then I click "OK" and the second pops-up:
      ff7d6a3d-fca9-49dd-a059-eea397755ce3-image.png

      It occurs for all types of output (export as VSTi, standalone or plugin FX).
      I recompiled HISE sometimes trying to solve, but it didn't. I'm using the develop-branch.

      Days ago Mr. Healey really tried to help me. He did a search in HISE code trying to find the cause of thoses errors, but nothing helped. I validated every .xml file with web validation, and no errors were found. I also created a new project with an empty interface and no code and got the same errors when trying to export.

      Any suggestion?
      Thanks!
