@ustk hey i use windows+inno setup and ive never experienced this myself. out of curiosity if you upload the downloaded file to virustotal.com whats the result? im just wondering what its being flagged as. edit: ive also never added a windows certificate

if you can see what is causing the hang up you can delete it from the xml load the project and re add it. i had a project that crashed on Compiling Sampler and was able to remove that module from the xml and then load it.

assuming the xml is valid, do you see anything happen when you try to load the project?

@VorosMusic sorry i worded that wrong. i actually used Math.random to create a sweep in an effect knob, then setMacroControl to link it. the button just starts/stops a timer. i then manually linked the macros by clicking the pencil then the main knob. what i want to do is basically setMacroControl to 0 but it doesnt seem to work how im expecting.

@JL-LV i have experienced this. i always assume i made a mistake and selected the wrong option under Build For >.

i will then clean the build and try again using build for profiling. usually works.
