Hi, im recently started to using Faust and im testing an effect that uses no more than 2% of CPU in Intel i7 but in apple M2 goes from 8% to 10%, i don't know if I missing something in the DSP compilation or is a normal behavior? Thanks.

@Soundavid I haven't exported faust for Mac yet, so I'm interested what you find out.

Are you talking about the exported code or the Faust JIT compiler? HISE runs under Rosetta so there might be a little overhead but it shouldn‘t be factor 4.

@Christoph-Hart Inside HISE Both the compiled DSP network and with the JIT compiler goes almost 10%, in the compiled plugin reduces a little bit but the difference with intel is almost 6% - 8% of CPU, im using the x64 Faust library on both and im testing the re.greyhole reverb.
