So I loaded up the FM node and used a loop player to play a drum loop thru it, but its only playing back the altered sound through the left channel, what am I doing wrong here?

      heres the loop

      Also whilst I'm here.....

How do I bypass a node? I assume its using the soft bypass container - but I don't know how it works....

From some testing, I believe there may be a bug with the FM oscillator. Since no matter the context it only outputs to the left channel. The only workaround I've found is to use a mono2stereo module, but I'm pretty sure that just doubles the left channel.

Edit: the FM oscillator is monophonic. Thanks for the insight Christoph!

I'm assuming you want to control the bypass state from a node from the outside using a parameter. For this you need a soft_bypass node where you put the part that you want to bypass and then drag a parameter knob to the bypass button of this container (just like you add a connection to another knob).

There's also a new template that creates all the boilerplate for setting up multiple bypass nodes where you can switch between different signal paths.

And yes, the FM is monophonic (like most of the oscillators in scriptnode). If you want to process stereo, just use a container.multi container with two FM nodes.

Well I clearly am doing something wrong....I take my eq node I right click on it I select the container icon and select "Wrap into softbypass"

my node gets wrapped in a container, it looks like this:

            eb309671-8cc1-4617-adc3-4a5afb75c961-image.png

I create a param, and drag it to the container - nothing happens - theres nowhere to drop it, I've tried dragging it and dropping it everywhere in the container....

@Lindon -ok this is a bug - doing it that way doesnt work - you have to create a whole new softbypass container and then put your node inside it...
