I have a very complex project going on in Scriptnode. I've been exporting it for the past few months after some milestones to see how it behaves outside of the HISE playground. All good - the changes I made in the Scriptnode graph were reflected in the built plugin.

Then, I updated some HISE versions over the plast few weeks as @Christoph-Hart fixed some things for me a while ago (thank you!) and today, after exporting the plugin over and over again to fine tune something I finally realized that the compiled plugin is stuck with the scriptnode graph from before I made the last changes. Just to be clear - in HISE, the graph is up to date and all nodes do what they’re supposed to. It’s just that once I export the plugin, the plugin doesn’t reflect those changes.

To test this, I inserted the core gain module at the end of the chain, set the gain to -100 to see if things would get quiet. They do, in HISE, which is as expected, but once the plugin is compiled, the core gain node is not included.

I manually removed the built plugin just to make sure I’m not testing the old version, built it again and got the same problem.

I assume that something was added recently to HISE that I'm not familiar with and I should most likely enable some settings somewhere but I have no idea where to begin as it was working fine before the last couple of updates? Any ideas?

      Thanks!

Every time you rebuild HISE, you have to recompile the scriptnode network dll of your projects.
I think your export is probably referencing an old dsp dll.

@Dan-Korneff ok, I’ll try that, thanks! Do I remember correctly that there was an issue with compiled dll networks and global modulators?

@tomekslesicki I'm not sure. I haven't played with global modulators yet.

@tomekslesicki just FYI, I'm currently working on a project in which I'm using custom scriptnode global modulators to modulate some HISE filter modules and they are working fine in the built plugin.
