Script FX / Global Modulator

I've made a simple enough reverb fx with a mix knob (xfader). The mix knob is controlled by a knob parameter at the top, however I also want it to be controlled by a global modulator. Obviously the xfader control can only have one connection (the mix knob) so I can't route the global mod to it directly...
I feel like I've been here before a while back and there were certain nodes I used to make this work but a lot has changed so figured I'd post here in case anyone has been here before!

control.bipolar
orcontrol.intensity
node between the global mod node and the pma input so that you can affect how the modulation signal is applied. -

However slight sticking point is switching the modulator on or off. The Add position doesn't reset so when you turn the modulator off the 'mix' knob then is affected by the Add position. Unless I've done this wrong?!

You have to set the Multiply param range to 0-1
