Trying to download documentation...

Every time I launch a compiled plugin, that used to have a floating tile as MarkDown Panel, I get this screen about updating the docs.

As I said, it no longer contains this MarkDown panel and in the preferences in Hise I have this settings regarding documentation

How come I get this popup every time I launch the compiled plugin?
I must have missed something but I don't know what

It's compiled with the latest develop branch

I think - without going deeper - that this is a path problem.

The user of a complicated plug-in cannot access your user folder.

/Users/ulrikboden/Library ... etc.

The path between MarkdownRepository and Target directory are also different from Accordion.

@MikeB but this plugin doesn't have any MarkDown panel anymore, in that case there still has to be some hidden path somewhere and I can't find anywhere

@ulrik In appData (or the MacOS version) perhaps?

Have a look in User/Library/Application Support/HISE

there is a file "DocSettings.xml".

here you will find the path.

If not, you can check the other files. They are all XML.

Maybe this will help you?

You should add this folder HISE - if not already done
in the Finder sidebar on the left.

Here you can see I have the setting "RefreshOnStartup" false
and it still try to load documentation that doesn't exist

Maybe Export > Clean Build Directory?

I alway Clean Build Directory before compiling.

Maybe try this
DocRepository value ""
RefreshOnStartup value "Yes"

Maybe the refresh without content will make the path empty again?

@Lindon I made a new project folder and copied all samples, maps, images and all that was needed to it, but the compiled plugin still show this irritating window

There must some enable/disable function to set this function to off?

Why don't you create a new empty folder and link it?
This path is also empty for me
HISE seems to take it from a cache if there is no folder.

Running into this as well on New Layout and Develop branch. I'm using a markdown panel in my project, but don't want to update via server. Anyone know a fix yet?

@dustbro I never figured this out, at the moment I'm working on some other plugins, but sooner or later I will have to deal with that issue
