ScriptNode???
-
You write in the Scriptnode documentation:
"If you want to learn about the functionality of each node, take a look at the reference manual, otherwise feel free to load up a few example snippets and play around, this might be the best start into the world of scriptnode."
My question is where can I find the mentioned examples to try out?
Are there any further descriptions or even a video?

Yes that bit of the documentation was assuming a bright future where every node is explained and snippets are shared here :)
The video guy is waiting a little bit before making a tutorial about scriptnode. There is one pitch shift project in the tutorial repo, but its a bit more advanced than a hello world thingie (which I also think a video will be most helpful).

@Christoph-Hart
I'm still struggling with the standard elements, so I'm not in a hurry.I'll give the video guy a little bump bump in his Patreon channel. :-)
Maybe the community here can help with one or the other.
explained snippetBut what's missing is a diagram of the integration into the whole thing.
From my understanding SriptNode is a possibility
to create effects and instruments separately - in a separate environment - and then to access and use them in the GUI like the existing modules like Sampler or Waveform Generator - Or? -

to create effects and instruments separatelyYes, more or less - you can also create custom envelopes or monophonic modulators too. It's basically a way to add new HISE modules using a visual programming style that is particular suited towards DSP algorithms.
You'll create those algorithms in a separate app called the
SNEX workbench
, then you'll export them (aka compile them just like you compile your finished project) and load them into a HISE module in your main project. -

...you can also create custom envelopes...
I'm not against an example :)
