@Christoph-Hart - Two short but crucial questions about: "The definitive feature request & bug fix roadmap".
First of all: I think this initiative is really great - thank you very much for that:
- in which build are these new features and bug fixes made.
I see that "scriptnode_codegen_rewrite" changes almost every hour.
The build "scriptnode" is already 22 days old.
Since I like many others but do not want to use in the middle of a project the apparently still experimental
I hope that some of the new features will be included in the scriptnode version.- How do we get to know if you have make a new feature or kicked a bug?
Do we have to check GitHub every hour - or is there another sticky entry here
that keeps us up to date?At least about the major changes.

@MikeB I don't want to speak for Christoph but:
-
I think the fixes and features are going into the new codegen branch. So yes it is experimental, but once fixed, we just have to wait for the codegen to be the official one once it is stable enough. Since then, the not-so-old scriptnode branch is working with not too much problems. So you have two choices, don't beneficiate from the new features and fixes until codegen is stable, or use codegen if you don't intend to sell a product in 2 weeks...
There are no reasons for Christoph to add complexity to his days by commiting on scriptnode since it'll be deprecated anyway...
Although if you can't wait, there might be some commit you can take from codegen to put into scriptnode manually -
you can use an RSS reader to be aware of new commits instantly

On point.
